''A Story That Became A Calling''
A call to come closer
I never imagined that going to sleep could change the direction of my entire life. But one night it did. I had a dream that was unlike anything I had ever known.
I woke up in a field, and in the distance I saw the Lord. The peace and joy I felt are hard to put into words. I ran to Him, and we embraced like two who had been waiting a long time to meet again. Then his expression grew serious, and He said, ''Come back to me.''
I answered ''I will,'' but He knew I didn't mean it. I started to walk away, not wanting to surrender. He pulled on me again and said with urgency, ''Come back to Me.'' This time I answered '' I will,'' and meant it with all my heart. Then the dream ended.
A few days later, while scrolling through Facebook, I came across a song I had never heard before- When the Pale Horse and His Rider Goes By. As I listened conviction flooded my heart. In that moment I realized something I had not known: I believed in Jesus but I wasn't truly living for Him.
That realization changed everything.
What My Story Has to Do With Yours
Many people didn't understand what was happening to me. Some mocked and many didn't understand this sudden change. Reminds me of Paul within scripture. Real encounters with God do that-they wake us up to the life we were meant to live.

I committed myself to Scripture and study, and eventually earned a bachelor's degree in Christian Theology so I could help others experience the same transformation.

I've learned something deeply personal and painfully true: Many of us attend church, believe in Christ, yet still feel distant, discouraged, or unchanged. We want more-but don't know how to get there.
